Kristin

They say success is where preparation and opportunity meet. Kristin finds happiness using her experience to help others be prepared for those opportunities and achieve success. She not only makes others feel like they want to become better, but she shows them how.
Having more than 25+ years experience in accounting means she has seen almost everything. Her positions of bank VP, CFO and CPA firm accountant have given her the experience to help others be ready for opportunity. This allows clients to see exactly where they are and what they are headed for. Her experience coupled with the opportunities of her clients will help them be successful.
Her passions are health and nutrition. Through health and nutrition she has been able to show people how to improve their lives, achieve their goals such as fighting cancers and diseases, to increasing energy and weight loss. She feels successful by sharing with others her knowledge and experience, allowing them to become successful themselves. Her hobbies include Go-kart racing, biking, and running.
David
Vice President
Growing up, David never planned on following in his father’s footsteps of being a CPA. He loved numbers but he also loved cooking, which led to his job as a chef at Vivace, an Italian restaurant. Working evenings and weekends soon made him realize he was not spending any time with family or friends. That’s when he decided to return to accounting. He continued learning and experiencing different facets of accounting both through his MBA degree at Utah State University and through a progressive increase in responsibility on the job. He was hired at a $4 million company that had no accounting controls or accurate reports. He left it an $11 million company that had comprehensive accounting controls and not only accurate but timely financials reports, allowing the owners to really understand where they were and where they were headed instead of just having a gut feel.
Numbers alone would not satisfy David. One of the things he loved about cooking was the sense of accomplishment he felt when others enjoyed a great dish he had prepared. He found a way to transfer this sense of accomplishment into the accounting world. Now he not only prepares the financials for owners to look at, but he helps them understand what the financials mean and what the projections hold so they can enjoy the good times and know when to make changes for the hard times.
Helping business owners obtain and understand their correct and timely financial information is why David helped found Number Crunchers. That is the reason Number Crunchers exists.
